MAS (Monetary Authority of Singapore) Notice on Sale of Investment Products/Plans From 1 January 2012, investment products are classified into 3 categories: (1) Excluded Investment Products ("EIPs") (a) Stock or shares issued by a corporation listed or quoted on Singapore Exchange (b) Units in Real Estate Investment Trusts (c) Company Warrants (d) Preference Shares (e) American Depository Receipt (f) Subscription rights pursuant to rights issues (g) Unit in business trust (h) Debenture other than asset-backed securities or structured notes (i) Contract or arrangement on foreign exchange trading (2) Listed Specified Investment Products ("Listed SIPs")
